June 1, 2019 | 5:30PM Fun for All | 8:20PM Lantern Walk

Saturday evening, June 1st a Lantern Walk around Fellsmere Pond will take place to remember & celebrate the Malden Hospital legacy & community benefit to the people of Medford & Malden for well over a century.

The Lantern Walk will update people of both communities on our ongoing advocacy for community-based options at the 18-acre site, reflecting a wide range of much needed community uses & amenities.  

Activities at the pond will appeal to all ages -- lantern making, food stuff, face painting, sparklers, children's play activities & a short program for your information & entertainment. 

A lantern making workshop will be offered prior to the walk itself to make lanterns in advance of the event:

Monday, May 20 at 2-7 pm, hosted by Ginny Remedy-Brown, 21 Ivy Road, Malden

Walk participants can buy a premade lantern for $5 on the evening of the walk.
